When is a good time to visit Thailand ?

Anytime is always a good time to visit Thailand. Thailand is a year-round destination with little change of temperature. Thailand enjoys a tropical climate with three distinct seasons- hot and dry from February to May (average temperature 34 degrees Celsius and 75% humidity); rainy with plenty of sunshine from June to October (average day temperature 29 degrees Celsius and 87% humidity); and cool from November to January (temperatures range from 32 degrees Celsius to below 20 degrees Celsius with a drop in humidity).

Much lower temperatures are experienced in the North and Northeast during nighttime. The South has a tropical rainforest climate with temperatures averaging 28 degrees Celsius almost all year round.

However, as Thailand is a tropical country, at certain times of the year there is a heavier rainfall than at others. It is recommended that you take this into account when booking.

Deluxe: These rooms are normally the best equipped and appointed units in a hotel.

Junior Suite: A room features a separate living-sitting area (although not a separate room), in addition to the bedroom.

Note: The different of each room categories varies from one hotel to another. This is just for a guideline.

What are the different of Single, Twin, Double, Triple and Quad Room?

Single Room:

A single room is designed to accommodate one person only. The room contains one single bed or twin bed.

Double Room:

A double room is designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains one queen size bed or king size bed, or if not available a twin bed.

Twin Room:

A twin room is also designed to accommodate two people only. The room contains two single beds or if not available a king size bed.

Note:

"Double and Twin refers to the bedding configuration in a room. Both mean two people are going to stay so the price is higher than a Single. Double means one large bed where a couple would sleep. Twin means two smaller beds where two people would share a room but do not want to share a bed. For example: If you book a single and two people show up, you will be charge with higher rate if their double/twin rate is higher than their single rate."

Triple Room:

There are two main types of Family rooms. The first type is called Triple Room. This room is designed to accommodate three people only. The room will contain either:

  • One queen and one single bed
  • Three single beds
  • Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form.

    Quad Room:

The second type of Family room is called a Quad Room. This room is designed to accommodate four people only. The room will contain either:

  • Two queen beds
  • One queen and two single beds
  • Four single beds
  • Please specify which option you require when sending your reservation form.

We can also assist you in seeking accommodation that can accommodate more than four people in a room. Please specify the number of people in your party when completing your reservation request form. Note that all kinds of room category are on request and depend on room availability.

  • What are the check in and check out times ?

Check in time is the time that you can sign into your room on your first day at the hotel.

Check out time is the time that you must leave your room by on your last day.

The time of check in and check out varies from one hotel to another. However, most of the hotel usually set it from 2:00 PM (14:00 hrs.) for check in time and before Noon (12:00 hrs.) for check out time.

What is the meaning of star rating ?

Star ratings are used to symbolize the overall quality, level of service, food standard, and range of facilities available in any given properties. The criteria applied within each country will vary depending on the specific requirements established by the relevant issuing body, but the below outlines will give a general understanding of what can typically be expected within each banding.

One Star: Majority will be small, independently owned properties. There is likely to be a limited range of meals and facilities.

Two Stars: Varying from small to medium sized properties offering more extensive facilities than one star. Reception and staff will aim for a more professional presentation than at one star level and a wider range of services, including food and drink is likely to be found. Some rooms may be provided with en-suite facilities, but this is not guaranteed.

Three Stars: Hotel properties will usually be of a size to support higher staffing levels and with a greater quality and range of facilities. Reception and public areas will be more spacious. All bedrooms should come with en-suite facilities, and room service may be available.

Four Stars: At this level there should be a noticeable difference in the degree of quality in the furnishings, d'cor and equipment. Bedrooms are usually more spacious than those found in lower starred properties. Services such as 24-hour room service, laundry and dry cleaning may be available.

Five Stars: These properties should provide spacious and luxurious accommodation throughout the hotel. Formal service and flawless attention to the guest's requirements should be provided.

What is the boutique hotel ?

Boutique hotel is a term originating in North America to describe intimate, usually luxurious or quirky hotel environments. Boutique hotels differentiate themselves from larger chain/branded hotels and motels by providing personalized level accommodation and services/ facilities.

Sometimes known as "design hotels" or "lifestyle hotels," boutique hotels began in the 1980s in major cities like New York, London, and San Francisco. Very often, it is the Morgan Hotel in Murray Hill of New York, that is awarded with the title of first boutique hotel in the world. It was opened by Ian Schrager in 1984 according to design of Andre Putnam.

Typically boutique hotels are furnished in a themed, stylish and/or aspiration manner. Although usually considerably smaller than a mainstream hotel (often ranging from 3 to 100 guest rooms), boutique hotels can often have hundreds of rooms in major cities. Guest rooms and suites are fitted with telephony and WIFI Internet, air-conditioning, honesty bars and often cable/pay TV. Guest services are attended to by 24 hour hotel staff. Many boutique hotels have on-site dining facilities, and the majority offer bars and lounges which may also be open to the general public.
