For the money you pay for this hotel you can't really complain, the service in the hotel is pretty good, beds turned down and air conditioning working VERY well.
Pool is very small, not for anything more than a five minte dip. The restaurant which is kind of attached to the hotel is pretty grim, I wouldn't go there again, this is mainly because in general I found the standard of food in every other place really good, and not more than a two - three minute walk.
The rooms are ok, although there were some very small ants in the bathroom, but the times I was getting back to my room (late) I was in no fit state to notice them. Bringing guests back was not a problem.
I would not recommend this place for families, the sex industry is all around this hotel, its not obtrusive however and the room wasn't rocking because of the noise coming from the street or next door, but just getting in the lift you were often faced with a 60 year old man holding hands with a 20 year old local girl, sure it could be his daughter but I think not!
if you can try to get a room high, I saw some of the rooms on the higher levels and they seem bigger with a better view.
Their laundry service was good and the mini bar was fully stocked with free bottles of local clean water, dont drink from the tap, I'm told don't even gargle with it! All in all, if I were to go back to Pattaya, I would have no problem returning to this hotel. |
